AUGUR WINE CO. was born in the summer of 2014 after a surf session I had at The Hook in Santa Cruz’s Pleasure Point. Sitting on the beach enjoying a bottle of Clos Cibonne from Cotes de Provence, I dreamt up of producing California rosé that had a similar oceanic minerality by focusing solely on sourcing organic single vineyard fruit from coastal and cool climate sites.

My approach in the winery is subtle - a low intervention methodology I center on the higher quality fruit and cooler vineyard sites without the additions that can make wines over executed.

My wines are produced with a hope that they will be a stellar addition to any dinner table, pool patio, beach towel, river bank, campsite, and festivity.
